Pedestrians struck in Guelph

Three pedestrians, including two-young children, were struck while trying to cross the street at Woodlawn Road and Inverness Drive in Guelph.

According to police an 11 month old infant in a stroller was knocked over, while his 21 year old nanny was thrown onto the hood of the vehicle and the 3 year old boy was run over. The three were taken to hospital, but luckily none were seriously injured. The 49 year old man from Guelph has been charged with careless driving and other driving infractions.
