Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in downtown Hamilton collision

A pedestrian is in hospital with serious life-threatening injuries following a collision in downtown Hamilton on Monday night.

Paramedics and police were called to 100 King St. West around 10 p.m. to an underground parking garage.

Reports indicate a 2017 Acura Integra struck a man as the driver was exiting the garage.

Police say that “all investigative avenues are being considered at this time.”

The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken over the investigation.

Investigators are also asking local residents, business owners and motorists in the area at the time of the collision to check surveillance cameras or dashcam footage.
