Pawz in the Park

The dogs ruled Corktown Park in Hamilton all Saturday for Pawz in the Park.

Dogs and their owners gathered to raise funds for the Citadel Canine Society, an organization that matches rescued service dogs with veterans and first responders with post traumatic stress disorder.

“We help place dogs with service trainers and stuff like that,” organizer, Dan Page adds “basically the money goes towards those dogs and helps service men and woman.”

Spectators had a chance to soak in some live entertainment with a costume parade, dog cart rides and the canine extravaganza, “Fast n’ Furry.”
