Part of Hamilton’s Dundurn St. South closed until end of July

Another lane closure near the already congested Main and Dundurn streets intersection in Hamilton started today and will last for five weeks.

The northbound lane of Dundurn Street South will be fully closed between Main Street West and Hill Street until the end of July for watermain and storm sewer work.

Some detour suggestions include using Frid Street to get to Main Street West and Locke Street to access York Boulevard.

The months-long construction project continues in the city’s downtown core, paving the way for Main Street’s conversion to two-way traffic.
