Parliament resumes

The Harper government says the new session of the House of Commons, which got underway Monday morning, will be all about the economy.

But changes to pensions are also likely to be a key focus as well.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper signalled planned changes to pensions last week when he spoke in Davos, Switzerland.

Critics complain the Conservatives made no mention of pension cutbacks during last year’s federal election campaign.
