Pan Am HOV driver zips past 800 cars

For thousands who drive alone, the new temporary Pan Am HOV lanes have meant frustrating, long commutes during the games. But how well do they work for car poolers?

Toronto driver Eddie Hosa shot a time-lapse of his daily drive down the HOV lane. The video shows him passing 800 vehicles stalled in traffic, proving that packing in a couple extra passengers can be a huge time saver.

To use the lanes, there must be three or more persons in the vehicle.
