Two people are in hospital following an overnight crash near Hamilton’s John C. Munro International Airport Thursday night.

Ontario Provincial Police told CHCH News that it happened at around 11 p.m.

Officers had closed a portion of Highway 6 South between the Airport Road ramp and Book Road for most of the night, but it has since fully reopened.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown, and police have not said if any charges have been laid.
