More than 106,000 Audi SUVs are being recalled in Canada and the U.S. over possible fire risks. Nearly 17,000 of the affected vehicles are in Canada.

According to the Transport Canada notice, certain vehicles are at a higher risk of experiencing an oil leak due to loose screws, which could spill onto hot components and cause fires.

The recall impacts Audi Q5 models from 2022 to 2024.

Audi will notify owners by mail if their vehicle is affected, and will advise consumers to take their cars to a dealership for inspection and repairs.
