Waterdown school dress code announcement sparks outrage amid sexual assault investigation

A morning announcement at Waterdown District High School has many parents and students outraged on Thursday. It was a reminder to keep shoulders and stomachs covered – in accordance with the school’s dress code policy. But just two days ago, police announced they were investigating reports of sexual assault and harassment at the school and the timing of today’s announcement left some female students feeling as though they were being blamed.
