Out of control car sends three to hospital

Niagara Regional Police are still trying to understand how an out-of-control car in St. Catharines sent three men to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say a 55 year old driver from Thorold with a 29 year old passenger lost control of his Chevy Cavalier on Bunting Road.

The car mounted a curb, slammed into a parked Honda Civic in a parking lot, and then continued driving out of control.

The car then went back on the road and struck a utility pole.

A 67 year old man was inside the parked Civic at the time.

Investigators are trying to determine if the driver had a medical condition.

So far no charges have been laid.
