Ontario Provincial Police’s Road Safety Division is warning of dangerous winter weather and whiteout conditions in the Niagara Region Monday morning.
Police warn weather may be clear in some areas in the Greater Toronto Area, though driving conditions are treacherous.
In a post on X, police say driving conditions on Highway 406 between St. Catharines and Welland, Ont., are very poor right now.
Officers say snow is piling up and there are whiteout conditions.
Police report at least seven collisions and numerous vehicles disabled.
