OPP urge caution while driving as foggy conditions continue in GTHA
Ontario Provincial Police are reminding drivers to exercise caution in dicey conditions.
In a post on social media Tuesday morning, Haldimand OPP said people should activate their vehicle’s entire lighting system when commuting, citing the foggy weather.
Parts of the GTHA have been blanketed by heavy fog over the last 24 hours, after periods of consistent rain that melted away the snow seen in southern Ontario last week.
Environment Canada is also predicting more mixed weather conditions this week, with more rain and flurries on their way.
Haldimand OPP are asking pedestrians to wear reflective clothing to avoid any potential incidents.
It’s very foggy again, and #HaldimandOPP wants to remind everyone using the roadways this morning to activate your entire lighting systems AND wear reflective clothing if you’re on foot so you can be seen.
