OPP seek identity of three people accused of assault in Simcoe

Provincial police in Norfolk County are asking for the public’s help in identifying three people accused of assault in Simcoe.

Just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to the intersection of Culver and Sydenham streets for reports of an assault.

Investigators determined that two people became involved in an altercation with the three unidentified people. One of the individuals threatened the two people with an edged weapon and damaged their property.

Detectives say the three people fled northeast, two on bicycles and the third on foot.

The first suspect is described as a white man, around 30 to 40-years-old, about five-foot-six with a thin build, visible tattoos and was last seen wearing a red hat.

The second accused person is described as a white man with a beard and was last seen wearing a green hat and a sleeveless jersey style shirt.

The third suspect is described a white woman with curly hair. She was last seen wearing camouflage pants and carrying a handbag.
