OPP seek federal offender wanted on Canada-wide warrant

The Ontario Provincial Police’s repeat offender parole enforcement squad is asking for the public’s help in finding a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant as a result of his breach of statutory release.

Officers say 22-year-old Jakob Beisel is serving a three-year sentence for offences including armed robbery while using a restricted or prohibited firearm, possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and fail to comply with sentence.

Beisel is described as Caucasion, five-foot-eight, 149 lbs and has short brown hair and green eyes.

The offender is known to frequent the Brampton, Barrie, Orillia, North Bay and Sudbury areas.
