OPP seek 3 suspects after armed bank robbery in St. George

A brazen daytime bank robbery in St. George Friday has the OPP on the lookout for three armed suspects.

Just after 3:30 Friday afternoon, Brant County OPP were called to the Bank of Montreal in the village of St. George for an armed robbery.

Police immediately released pictures of three armed suspects taken from the security cameras inside the bank, but didn’t give descriptions.

The getaway vehicle was a black Subaru SUV and was last seen fleeing Main Street in St. George, but was later recovered in the village.

Police are still searching for the suspects, and are asking anyone who lives in the area of Beverly Street and Main Street as well as King William and Victor Boulevard to check their home security cameras.
