UPDATE: Body of man who fell off Sea-Doo on Grand River found by police

Ontario Provincial Police are searching for a missing 26-year-old man who was last seen Thursday evening falling off a Sea-Doo on the Grand River.

Officers said it happened on the river near Highway 54 and Onondaga Townline Rd. shortly after 7 p.m.

OPP said they have found the watercraft.

The man is described as tall with a thin build, wearing no shirt and grey shorts. He was not wearing a personal flotation device.

OPP officers from Brant and Haldimand, the marine unit, and the emergency response unit are all involved in the search.

UPDATE: An OPP press release Friday evening says police found the man’s body in the Grand River and that victim services has been engaged with the family members.
