The Ontario Provincial Police were very busy across the region with hundreds of crashes and calls for service during Thursday’s snowstorm.
Officers in the Greater Toronto Area responded to around 400 collisions and calls for service as of around 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Of those, 260 were crashes that police investigated and 150 were calls for help getting out of a ditch or snowbank.

OPP in the west region responded to 217 crashes.

Authorities are reminding people to drive carefully and slowly as not all roads have been cleared yet and they may still be slippery.
Snow is expected to continue to fall on Friday. Environment Canada is saying Hamilton is expected to get about two more centimetres.
