OPP investigating fatal ATV accident in Brant County

The OPP have launched an investigation following an ATV collision that claimed the life of an 18-year-old in Brant County.

Police received a report of a serious collision involving an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) around 11:33 p.m. on August 7 in the area of West Quarter Townline Rd. and Thirteenth Concession.

Emergency responders arrived to find the ATV flipped upside down in the north side ditch of Thirteenth Concession.

The 18-year-old lone driver from Brant County was taken to a local hospital where he would later succumb to his life-threatening injuries.

An investigation into the incident by OPP and the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement unit is ongoing.
