OPP investigate serious crash on Highway 3 near Delhi

Police are investigating a crash Thursday involving a transport truck and a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) near Delhi that sent two people to hospital.

Officers say emergency crews responded to a collision on Highway 3 near Delhi in Norfolk County at around 11:54 a.m.

The driver of the SUV and a passenger of the vehicle was air-lifted to hospital with undetermined injuries.

Police have closed a portion of the highway between Lynedoch and Fertilizer Roads while they investigate the circumstances of the collision.

Officers posted on X at around 1:18 p.m. asking drivers to adjust their travel plans and to avoid the area.
