OPP expanding investigation into nurse accused of killing 8 seniors

OPP have been asked to expand their investigation into Elizabeth Wettlaufer, the nurse accused of killing eight seniors at two long-term care homes in Southwestern Ontario

Reports say two more families are expressing concerns after the unexpected deaths of their loves ones. They say those relatives lived in a London facility where Wettlaufer worked.

She is currently faces eight counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of nursing homes residents in Woodstock and London. It’s alleged Wettlaufer used drugs to kill her victims while she worked at the facilities between 2007 and 2014. The victims range in age from 75 to 96.

Wettlaufer is due back in court January 6th.
