Winter arrives in the Golden Horseshoe

People in the Golden Horseshoe got a little taste of winter this morning but the snow is expected to pick up this weekend. Cities like St.Catharines, Hamilton and Toronto could expect 10 centimeters of snow.

The first snow of the season is here and snow plows have already been deployed across Niagara. The region’s 19 trucks were out salting roads from the light snowfall overnight and it’s the same case across southern ontario. A snow squall watch is in effect for most of South Western Ontario but the GTA and Niagara are expected to get their first big snow fall of the year on Sunday.
