Ontario is reporting 1,848 new cases of COVID-19 and 45 deaths.
The new cases reported on Friday come as the province completed 63,051 tests. There are another 69,280 tests under investigation.
An additional 1,753 of Ontario’s COVID-19 cases have been marked as resolved. Overall, just over 85 per cent of cases of the virus reported in Ontario are resolved.
Ontario is reporting 1,848 cases of #COVID19 and nearly 63,100 tests completed. Locally, there are 469 new cases in Toronto, 386 in Peel, 205 in York Region and 106 in Windsor-Essex County. There are 1,753 more resolved cases.

The death toll is 3,916, with nearly 63 per cent of those deaths recorded in residents of long-term care. More than 80 per cent of the new deaths reported on Friday were in people 80 and older.
There are 808 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in Ontario. There are 235 in intensive care, with 124 of those on ventilators.
