Ontario reported 1,563 cases of COVID-19 and 88 deaths on Thursday.
This comes as the province completed 64,467 tests. The reported positivity rate, which takes into account the date tests were taken, is 2.6 per cent.
Another 1,956 cases marked as resolved.
Ontario is reporting 1,563 cases of #COVID19 and nearly 64,500 tests completed. Locally, there are 584 new cases in Toronto, 265 in Peel and 132 in York Region.
As of 8:00 p.m. yesterday, 355,055 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

There are 1,101 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in Ontario, including 323 in intensive care, with 241 of them on ventilators.
Ontario administered another 6,724 doses of COVID-19 vaccines on Wednesday. As of 8 p.m., a total of 355,055 doses have been given.
There are 80,977 people who have received both shots of the vaccine.
The death toll in the province is 6,393 people, with 57.6 per cent of those deaths reported in residents of long-term care homes.
