The Ontario government says it will spend $25 million for more municipal cycling infrastructure.

It was announced at the 6th annual Ontario Bike Summit. The money will be spent over three years and is part of the province’s cycling strategy that was launched in August 2013.

According to a poll by the Share the Road Cycling Coalition, 4.3 million Ontarians ride their bike on a monthly basis. Fifty four per cent of participants say they want to ride their bike more often.
