Ontario Fire Marshal probes Hamilton house fire

The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate a fire on Hamilton’s beachfront.

Fire crews were called to a home on Fitch Ave., near Beach Blvd. around 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The home is vacant and no injuries were reported.

Fire officials say the home sustained about $60,000 worth of damage in the blaze.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
