Ont. appeals court revisits “panhandler murder”

A case dubbed “The Panhandler Murder” in 2007 is back in court. Hamilton native Nicole Kish was convicted of killing Ross Hammond in a late night confrontation on Toronto’s Queen Street West. The IT marketer from St. Catharines was stabbed after refusing to hand over $20 to a group of young people, begging on the street. Tuesday, lawyers for Nicole Kish went to the Ontario Court of Appeals looking to strike down the guilty verdict. Scot Urquhart has the story.
