One person dead after scooter crash in Waterford, say OPP

Ontario Provincial Police say one person has died following a scooter collision in Waterford that happened Friday night.
Police say they were called to the Waterford Heritage Trail between College Street West and Robinson Road around 9:22 p.m.
The person riding the scooter, a 30-year-old man from Brant County, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead.
Officers closed the trail for several hours, but it has since reopened.
