A man in his 60’s is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and a pick-up truck in Thorold.

Police say the collision happened around 4 p.m. yesterday at the intersection of Highway 58 and Thorold Stone Road.

Officers confirmed that the driver of the motorcycle has died.

The intersection was closed for an investigation for about five hours, but has since reopened.
