Oakville Transit strike possible

Contract talks between Oakville Transit and the Canadian Auto Workers have broken off.

Workers could be forced to take strike action midnight on Friday.

CAW president Ken Lewenza says Oakville Transit has failed to address any of the concerns raised by its staff over the last five months of negotiations.

The big issues include scheduling, vacations and treatment of injured workers.
