Oakville drug investigation leads to six arrests

Halton police say they have completed a lengthy drug trafficking investigation that resulted in six arrests and a large drug seizure. 

Police say on Wednesday, investigators executed search warrants at two residences in Oakville. 

As a result of the investigation, police found:

  • 81 grams of Methamphetamine
  • 9 grams of crack cocaine
  • 2.4 grams of fentanyl (pink in color)
  • 9 grams of fentanyl (purple in color)
  • Approximately 118 blue and white pills believed to be oxycodone

Investigators say they also seized around $355 CDN.

Police say 29-year-old Gage Henderson of Oakville has been charged with multiple offences including trafficking of controlled substances such as cocaine, crystal meth and fentanyl. 

Joseph Macleod, 55, of Oakville has been charged with two offences including trafficking of fentanyl and possession of fentanyl. 

Marlon Matthews, 31, of Oakville has been charged with three offences including possession of fentanyl, failing to comply with release order and failing to comply with probation order. 

Ronald Gordon, 53, of Oakville has been charged with three counts of failing to comply with a probation order. 

Ashley Taylor, 27, of Oakville has been charged with failing to comply with a release order.

Adam Biondo, 33, of Oakville has been charged with failing to comply with a release order, 

Police say Macleod, Henderson, Matthews and Gordon were held in custody pending a bail hearing. Taylor and Biondo were released on undertakings,
