The Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 36-year-old home intruder after a person suffered from injuries in Norfolk County.
Police say the suspect attended the residence and forcibly gained entry.
The homeowner was involved in a physical altercation and held the suspect while family members contacted police.
OPP responded to the emergency call at Norfolk St. South, Simcoe address close to 8 a.m. on Thursday.

Upon arrival, officers took the suspect into custody and transported the person who suffered injuries to a local hospital for treatment.
Daniel James Raitt, 36, of Norfolk County is facing four charges including break and enter, assault with weapon, and mischief under $5,000.
Raitt is scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courthouse at a later date.
