Christmas giveaway on Six Nations could cause traffic chaos: OPP

A gas bar and grocery store is hosting a drive-thru Christmas ham and turkey giveaway to the community at 7297 Indian Line Road – near the border of Norfolk County.

The Ontario Provincial Police are warning Six Nations area motorists to be aware of potential traffic delays on Townline Road on Friday and Saturday.

The giveaway is scheduled for Friday and Saturday starting at 8 a.m. until they run out of ham and turkey.

Employees at Towline Variety say they started handing it out at around 7:30 a.m. today before the scheduled 8 a.m. as big line-ups have already formed.

They believe they may run out  within the next hour or so, but are saving another batch of ham and turkey to give away on Saturday.
