No one injured after barn fire in Niagara-on-the-Lake

A fire in a barn at a local fruit farm in Niagara-on-the-Lake closed a section of Four Mile Creek Road Wednesday morning.
The road was closed for approximately one to two hours between Hunter Road and East and West Line.
Niagara-on-the-Lake Fire and emergency services responded to the blaze at 3:24 a.m. Wednesday.
Firefighters say the structure was unoccupied at the time and there are no reported injuries.
The barn was primarily used for equipment storage and mechanical work related to farm operations, according to first responders.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation but it is not believed to be suspicious.
An estimated cost of damage is not yet available.
