No injuries reported after shots fired into Oakville home

Halton police ask for the public’s help in a shooting investigation in Oakville’s Joshua Creek neighbourhood.

On Friday, officers responded to a home around 7:30 a.m. following a report of shots being fired in the area of Prince Michael Drive and Taylorwood Drive.

Officers investigated and determined multiple shots were fired into a home, which was occupied at the time of the shooting.

Detectives say no physical injuries were reported.

Police say a dark coloured SUV was seen in the area at the time.

Authorities say this is a targeted shooting and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on this investigation or anyone who may have security or dash cam video from the area of Prince Michael Drive and Taylorwood Drive between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. to contact them at 905-825-4777 extension 2216.
