No injuries after $400K early morning blaze at Hamilton home

An early morning blaze at a semi-detached home in Hamilton caused about $400,000 in damages but resulted in no injuries to firefighters or community members.

On Sunday at 3:09 a.m., fire crews were called to a row of three homes on Sanford Avenue North.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a heavy blaze at the back of one of the homes.

Crews say the fire was brought quickly under control before spreading throughout the structure.

The cause of the blaze is undetermined.
