Niagara police seek serial theft suspects tied to nearly 30 cases

Niagara police are investigating a theft at a pharmacy in Thorold that is believed to be connected to incidents at nearly 30 other stores.
Officials say on June 14, two women entered a Rexall Pharmacy location, removed multiple items from the shelves and hid them in bags.
Police allege the women then left the store without paying for the items, which were later valued at about $1,000.

Further investigation by police determined the same suspects have been linked to similar thefts across southwestern Ontario and the GTHA.
Police say the total stolen merchandise losses as a result of these thefts is believed to be over $28,000, with at least 29 stores having reported cases.
Niagara officials are asking the public to keep an eye out for the suspects believed to be behind the crimes.
