Niagara police are searching for a man following the sexual assault of two teenagers in Welland Wednesday morning.
Investigators say that between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., two teenagers were sexually assaulted by an unidentified man.
The assault took place in an area bordered by Thorold Road West, Clare Avenue, Fitch Street and South Pelham Road.
Detectives say the investigation revealed that the man originally offered a ride to the teenagers from a business in the area of Thorold Road West and Rice Road.
Authorities believe the suspect is a 40-year-old man who was operating a smaller dark coloured four-door vehicle.
Residents in the area of either location are asked to review any video surveillance footage from security cameras, door cameras and dash cameras between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
