Niagara police investigating after break and enter, girl sexually assaulted

Police are searching for a man allegedly responsible for a break and enter and sexual assault of a girl under the age of 15 in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

On Dec. 19 at approximately 11:20 p.m., officers were called to a home in the area of Wall Road and Four Mile Creek Road following a report of a break and enter.

Authorities say a further investigation led to information of the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl.

Investigators are seeking to identify a white man in his mid 30s who is approximately five-foot-eleven tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, a blue toque and black boots.

Anyone with information or surveillance footage from the area during the time period between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. is asked to contact police at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009519.
