Niagara police hunt for vehicle in Welland arson investigation

Niagara police is asking for the public’s help in searching for a vehicle involved in an arson investigation in Welland.

On Sunday at around 1:30 a.m., crews responded to a report of a structure fire at a residence on Beatrice Street, south of Ontario Road, which they quickly extinguished.

Detectives say the house was unoccupied at the time, no injuries were reported and the blaze was determined as arson.

Investigators are looking for a grey or silver four-door pickup truck seen in the area before the fire.
