Niagara police have arrested two Welland residents accused of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

On Wednesday, detectives arrested 40-year-old Kory Alexander Hodgins for allegedly making child sexual abuse and exploitation material, possessing that material and making it available.

Brianna Aleea Gearing, 32, has also been arrested for the same accused offenses.

Both suspects were held in custody after their arrests and are set to appear for a bail hearing on Wednesday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.

Authorities are requesting if anyone has had any contact or information regarding Hodgins or Gearing to contact them at 905-688-4111 ext. 1009128.
