Niagara Parks is partnering with EMM Williams Productions to host the world premiere of the immersive theatrical production AVATAR: Guardians of Eywa in Niagara Falls in May.

AVATAR: Guardians of Eywa will include a multi-show engagement, held at the Table Rock Centre from May 17 to early September, before traveling to other venues around the world.

It’s a brand new attraction that was also created by a Niagara Falls native — James Cameron.

“It will bring the world of Pandora to life through immersive storytelling, live acrobatic performances, and experiential technology,” said David Adames, the Niagara Parks CEO.

The Magic Walk™ production is inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar franchise, and involves a combination of live performance art, technology and an engaging narrative during an immersive walkthrough experience.

“We are proud to welcome a world-class experience that will redefine entertainment in our destination, attract visitors from around the world and showcase Niagara Falls as a place where iconic natural beauty and extraordinary experiences come together,” said Niagara Parks chair Graham Coveney.

The experience has been licensed by the Disney Theatrical Group and developed by the Montreal-based EMM Williams Productions.

The project is supported by a significant private investment, as well as funding from the Government of Canada’s Creative Export Canada program.

“We’re going to be taking our bus management in the summer of 2027, re-deploying it to host this production,” said Adames. “The world premiere is here in Niagara Parks in Niagara Falls, then it will move to other cities — cities like Nashville, New Orleans, Vancouver. It will also be launching globally in Thailand.”

Additional details, including ticket release dates and sales, will be announced in the coming months.
