Niagara Falls man charged in street crime investigation

Niagara police have charged a local man with drug trafficking offences after a carrying out a search warrant at his home. 

On Oct. 14, Niagara Regional Police Service 1 and 2 District street crime units completed a search warrant and uncovered 26.8 grams of suspected cocaine with a street value of around $3,200.

Police also found 26.1 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of around $2,000.

In addition, detectives found 1.5 grams of suspected fentanyl with an estimated street value of $150 and about $220 in cash. 

Thirty-four-year-old Leon Gates-Jarvis of Niagara Falls faces multiple charges related to drug trafficking offences and a fail to comply with probation order.
