Niagara Falls man arrested following human trafficking investigation

Police have arrested a 30-year-old Niagara Falls man following a human trafficking investigation involving abuse of a minor.

In January 2026, officers became aware of allegations of physical abuse against a person under the age of 16.

As a result of the investigation, a Niagara Falls man is facing the following charges:

  • Assault
  • Trafficking in person under 18 years
  • Receive material benefit from trafficking person under 18 years
  • Possession of proceeds obtained by crime exceeding $5000.00

Authorities say that no further information is being provided regarding the accused to protect the identity of the victim.

Detectives are looking to speak with anyone who may have purchased items via Facebook Marketplace at a residence in the area of Lundy’s Lane and Highland Avenue between June 2023 and January 2026.

Those who believe they may have attended an address in this area to purchase an item from Facebook Marketplace during the mentioned time are asked to contact police at 905-688 4111, option 3, ext. 1009664.
