A day after Sony revealed the first artwork for the upcoming tank drama Fury, we have our first trailer to go along with it. Fury is directed by David Ayer, the man behind 2012’s gritty police drama End of Watch. Here’s the official synopsis from Sony:

April, 1945.  As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines.  Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

It almost looks like Pitt is channelling a bit of his Inglourious Basterds persona Lt. Aldo Raine in this new role. He is also on board as an executive producer, something he’s been doing a lot of lately (Eat Pray Love, The Normal Heart). Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña, and Jon Bernthal round out the cast. You can see a brooding Brad Pitt and his tank barrel in the poster below. Fury is due to hit theatres just after Remembrance Day, on November 14.
