New arrest photos of Hamilton murder suspects Karafa and Li

Police in Hungary have shared photos showing the arrest of two Hamilton murder suspects.

Oliver Karafa and Yun (Lucy) Lu Li were wanted by Hamilton police for the murder of 39-year-old Tyler Pratt and the attempted murder of an unidentified woman in Stoney Creek in February.

Hamilton police said the victims and the accused knew each other but we don’t know the nature of their relationship.

Karafa and Li fled to eastern Europe within 24 hours of the murder.

The pair was arrested in Budapest earlier this month. The extradition process is currently underway.
