Mystery man pays for groceries

A downtown Hamilton group home got an early christmas present this week from an unknown man who paid for almost $500 worth of groceries.

Jeffrey Neven of Homestead Christian Care says a staff member was buying groceries for the charitable organization on Tuesday when a man asked if he could pay for the bill.

Eventhough he was warned the bill would be quite high, the man, in his mid-30’s, agreed to pay the tab of almost $500.
