Motorcyclist in serious vehicle crash in Brantford dies from injuries

Brantford police say a crash between a motorcycle and a car on King George Road near Varadi Avenue early Wednesday morning has killed one driver and injured another.

Officers say a collision involving a car and a motorcycle in the area took place at around 1:50 a.m., which resulted in the passenger vehicle hitting a residence.

The driver of the motor vehicle was transported to hospital for non-life threatening injuries, and the motorcycle driver was transported to a nearby trauma center for life-threatening injuries.

Police report that the motorcyclist later succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives say the investigation into the crash is active and on-going.
