Hamilton police continue to investigate after a two-vehicle crash that sent a 46-year-old motorcycle rider from Waterford to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say a 2014 Yamaha motorcycle was travelling south on Upper James St. when a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV travelling north on that street collided with it while attempting to make a turn into a commercial driveway shortly after 5:00 am Monday.

The motorcycle rider was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Detectives have ruled out alcohol, drugs and speed as contributing factors to the collision.

Anyone who has witnessed the collision and has not spoken to police is asked to call detectives at (905) 546-4753 or (905) 546-4755.
