Money, lottery tickets stolen during armed robbery at Niagara gas station

Niagara police are looking for two suspects after an overnight robbery at a Thorold gas station.

Police were called to Gales Gas Bar on Collier Rd. South around 12:30 a.m. on Monday.

Officers learned two males entered the gas station armed with a firearm. The duo took an undisclosed amount of cash and lottery tickets before fleeing on foot.

Investigators say no staff members or customers were physically injured during the robbery.

Police are looking for two men who are described as having medium builds. The first suspect was wearing a grey baseball cap, grey mask, a short-sleeve button-up shirt with red and blue stripes, grey pants, and black and white Adidas running shoes.

The second suspect was wearing a black baseball cap with a red bandana underneath, a black bandana covering his face, and a long-sleeve white shirt with blue stripes.

Police are asking residents and businesses in the area who may have security cameras, doorbell video cameras, or dash cameras to review their footage for suspicious activity between 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 8 and 1 a.m. on Aug. 9.
