Missing Welland kids found safe

Updated Two missing children in Welland have been found – safe and sound.

They were spotted in the area of Canboro Road and Merittville Highway around seven last night. That’s about seven kilometers from their homes and it’s believed they walked there.

A CHCH viewer saw photos of 11 year old Brianna Burke (above) and 12 year old Brendan Scaduto (below) on our Evening News at six, and recognized them.

She convinced them to get off the dark highway and contacted police. The search began for the pair after they didn’t show up at school.
